Atrial Fibrillation

		Opinions AFib drugs don't seem to do any good. I am sick of them. My AF medication has caused gastric reflux so I have to take omaprezole for it. Chronic paroxysmal AF led me to multiple medications that made a difference, but had intolerable side effects.			Opinions For my fibrillations I take Warfarin, Verapamil, Frusimide, Spirolactonone, Losec, diabetes drugs and my magnesium and evening primrose oil. For my AF I have metoprolol, but I have gained a significant amount of weight because of it. Part of fibrillation is an emotional thing due
	Metoprolol: just reading about the hunger makes me realise it must be the metoprolol. Atrial Fibrillation I have Carvedilol along with other meds, but have actually lost 20lb. Magnesium: I have taken it but in my case they don't seem to help much. . Lots of arrhythmics. Sotalol was the first drug they tried me on. It's a beta blocker There are dozens of causes for atrial fibrillation. In my case the left atrium was only partially compressing, causing the heart to work faster and showing on ECG as a fibrillation. Developed atrial fibrillation I am on metoprolol 95mg, inhibace 5mg, aspirin and bendrofluazide 2.5mg. I dont like warfarin and the restrictions on diet. Ive had this for 4 years.
